Residence permit (“registration at city hall”) Belgian students (Erasmus Belgica) No need to register in Antwerp if their domicile is still elsewhere in Belgium Unless if they have their own income and rent a studio flat or apartment in Antwerp

Residence permit Non EU (EEA) students with C visa or residence permit in another EEA country No registration, only “declaration of arrival” Within 8 days after your arrival! Inform International Office so that Ms Vanessa Geers/Ms Veerle Verschakelen can make an appointment at the Foreign Students’ Office 2 passport pictures (sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm – white background – no photocopies!) + passport If you need to obtain a D visa while in Belgium, inform the Int Office as soon as possible (difficult!)

Appointment with Foreign Students’ Office always on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday Bring the requested documents to appointment - original ID card/passport (with visa)!

Residence permit : de-registration At the end of your stay, fill out the “Change of Domicile” form (de-registration) & send it to Foreign Students’ Office + International Office Not necessary for students with “Bijlage 33” (FR, DE, NL, LUX) (or Belgian students or students with C visa) Or de-register using the link buitenland (if you master Dutch) buitenland
