Ⅰ. Studies at KAIST  Five courses.  Not adapted to the English lectures at first.  Books are thick.  Teachers are very nice.  Self-study at the Library.

Ⅱ. Living in KAIST  Dormitory is very good. ( 2-person room, fitness center, free washing machine, study room at 2 nd f loor, microwave oven, etc.)  Food is OK. Sometimes we make some food by ourselves at the International Kitchen at weekend.  Things are a little expensive.  Healthy, never gone to the hospital.  Environment is very good. (hills, river, blue sky)

Ⅲ. Friends made at KAIST  Most of the friends are foreigners like us.  Try to make Korean friends. ( No classes, language obstacle, heavy studies, etc. )

Ⅳ. Tours  Seoul.  Chuseok Mountain with Professor Im.  Busan.  Buyeo.  Posco.  Doosan heavy industrial.

Ⅴ. Feelings  Korean people are very polite.  KAIST students work very hard, and the North Library is full of people even at about 1:00 am.  From the plants we visited, I see that the technics of them are very good.  People in different places have different scopes, and they can think of and do things differently.
