Ⅰ. Studies at KAIST Five courses. Not adapted to the English lectures at first. Books are thick. Teachers are very nice. Self-study at the Library.
Ⅱ. Living in KAIST Dormitory is very good. ( 2-person room, fitness center, free washing machine, study room at 2 nd f loor, microwave oven, etc.) Food is OK. Sometimes we make some food by ourselves at the International Kitchen at weekend. Things are a little expensive. Healthy, never gone to the hospital. Environment is very good. (hills, river, blue sky)
Ⅲ. Friends made at KAIST Most of the friends are foreigners like us. Try to make Korean friends. ( No classes, language obstacle, heavy studies, etc. )
Ⅳ. Tours Seoul. Chuseok Mountain with Professor Im. Busan. Buyeo. Posco. Doosan heavy industrial.
Ⅴ. Feelings Korean people are very polite. KAIST students work very hard, and the North Library is full of people even at about 1:00 am. From the plants we visited, I see that the technics of them are very good. People in different places have different scopes, and they can think of and do things differently.
