NDPHS Strategy 2020 Strengthened occupational safety and health and well-being at work –through information and reporting systems, workplace activities and occupational health services NDPHS Action Plan To contribute to the improvement of working conditions by reducing occupational accidents and diseases and through improved occupational health and safety culture in the Northern Dimension area through a coordinated national system response.

NDPHS OSH objectives 6. Strengthen occupational safety and health and well-being at work 1.tripartite situational occupational safety and health (OSH) analysis for better decision-making basis for addressing OSH challenges; 2.coordinated national policy frameworks for health and safety at work and for the provision of working conditions conducive to health and well-being; 3.coordinated national policy for special national programmes for the development of occupational health services for all working people; 4.higher national commitment to combatting accidents and ill-health at work; 5.strengthened training framework for OSH staff; 6.better practical implementation of policies by improved information dissemination.

Strengthened training framework for OHS staff in the Northern Dimension area Explore the training needs in the individual countries with the aim to develop suitable curricula for several countries in the region. The target above is part of the project proposal for COST program. Project proposal will be done jointly with BSN in autumn Better practical implementation of policies by improved information dissemination 1.Dissemination and promotion of the report Reliable occupational accident registration - indicator for prevention (Realocc Accidents project result) and Cost of lost labour input project results 2.Networking with other groups 1.in the OSH EG thematic conference 20 th Sep, Reports are disseminated to the Commission, ILO, EUROSTAT, EU OSHA, ETUI on their request. EUROSTAT will use the Realloc results to reconsider their correction factor in the EU statistics. The Cost methodology has been incorporated in the EU OSHA Cost estimation project. 2.OSH EG supports the project Arctic knowledge network on working environment
