Writing and Remembering Cornell Note Taking Writing and Remembering

How the brain works… Why we remember What we write The brain is divided into regions When listening to lecture, listening and language regions are at work Crucial information is treated the same as trivial information When we take notes, we create spatial relations (another region of the brain) to the information we are writing. This helps filter out the less relevant information. Research has shown that when we write, as far as our brain is concerned, it’s as if we are doing.
