St. Mary’s High School President Transition  SMHS President John Kraus  Served as public facing leader of SMHS  Nurtured and Strengthened our relationship with the diocese and Catholic schools  Manage Resources and Budgets  Led development/fund raising and supported admissions/recruiting  Over the last year, it became clearer that the main focus of our president needs to development  Bringing in financial support from our Catholic community.  We Believe Campaign  John’s strength and interest were not in this area  Resignation Sept 30, 2015 A Catholic, College Prep Family since 18853

St. Mary’s High School “We Believe” Capital Campaign  We Believe…Our Faith, Our Family, Our Future  3 Year Campaign  Provide for longer term needs of SMHS  Identified $10M in needs in order of priority:  Debt Reduction ($2.5M)  Science Classroom and Facility Improvements ($3.5M)  Tuition Endowment ($2.5M)  Finish off Locker Rooms at Grace Center ($1.5M)  We won’t be able to fund all these needs with this campaign  First focus is the debt reduction.
