aparsen.eu #APARSEN The Industry Association Use the APARSEN outcomes as a central point of reference and guidance for members, using e.g. APARSEN website library of publications Act as a conduit for members who seek guidance and advise and consultancy in digital preservation matters Use the network that has now been built up with the APARSEN project- partners, with the APA-members and within the RDA as the likely platform to safeguard future persistence, mostly to consult the right expertise in digital preservation measures and try solve new digital preservation problems together. Invite speakers from the APARSEN network to association events

aparsen.eu #APARSEN The Distributed Research Association The Helmholtz Association is in the process of setting up a data federation, which will profit from both knowledge and relationships in its local setup and its inter-federation with similar European and global infrastructures. Not least thanks to the APARSEN work, the insistence on long term integrity and trustworthiness are an indispensable part of the requirements, today. We will continue to work on APARSEN's themes in association with many of the partners, as well as with other global peers in the context of the Research Data Alliance. Considering the large overlap in membership of APARSEN and RDA, we expect that RDA will develop to be our virtual centre of excellence. We will continue to use and introduce APARSEN results in such contexts as the Science Europe working group on research data, and other bodies developing related policy.

aparsen.eu #APARSEN The National Libraries The British Library's Digital Preservation Team will be utilising the experience and knowledge gained in participating in the research undertaken within the APARSEN project which is contributing to the training programme for staff within the organisation.

aparsen.eu #APARSEN The national chapter CINI has set up and Italian branch of the APARSEN VCoE Strategy level consultancy to the Italian Public Administration (esp. the Italian National Archives and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage) for guidelines and regulations for DP processes based on Authenticity Management (WP24) and Storage Solutions (WP23).
