Connect – Toolkits for Assisted Living

We have amassed a large amount of material on how the market in England is changing – and have some idea of what it might mean. We have identified and are developing tools that allow us to model value relationship across increasingly diverse supply chains. We are developing an Impact Measurement Framework to model interventions and determine effectiveness post implementation. We are working through project exemplars – getting user involvement is challenging.

Utility How well do telehealth, telecare and private purchase solve the particular caring problems? How well were priorities meet concept validation, content requirements and meeting user needs? Adoption Was the desired market reached? What is the market dynamic and evolution with respect to new stakeholders, new technologies, new and new services? Individual Performance social impact on individuals stress, productivity and wellbeing Organisational Performance business impact, encompassing potential benefits, realisation, scalability, commercialisation and sustainability Satisfaction Impact of Stratification Learning Cultural change Alignment How well are services amalgamated including detailed supply chain definition, service installation, data gathering, technical triage and data presentation. Efficiency How do novel supply- chain configurations with new intermediaries and actors fill the current supply-chain gaps compared with existing service provision Attainment Economic and business assessment of the private purchase market, the role of new players to this market and the boundary between private and statutory services WP6 WP2 WP3 WP5 WP4 WP6 Milestone 1

What’s worked? All partners getting insights into ‘their’ market approaches – and seeing the wider context. Exemplar services are being fine tuned. Consideration of the emerging market structure suggests ‘service aggregator’ actors may be missing in the consumer space. People care more about lead than granny.
