INTRODUCTION to the Grants Module The Grants Module is an add-on to the District version of ClubRunner It allows all of the Grant Qualified clubs to apply on-line for grants, and for District Grant personnel to login and review active and archived grants
INTRODUCTION to the Grants Module The module allows for the detailed preparation for applying for a Global Grant and the preparation and approval for a District Matching Community Grant. The process is through a workflow that is initiated with the submission of the initial grant request.

Understanding the Grant Application Process Workflow The Grant Application process workflow is applicable for both a Global Grant and a District Community Grant. It begins with… A GRANT REQUEST For a Global Grant the use of the module and the workflow process are tools to be used in the development of the formal grant application that will go to The Rotary Foundation For a District Community Grant the module’s workflow process results in the finished product - a grant application to District 5520 for a matching grant.
Grant Application Workflow
Accessing the Grants Module On the Internet, go to Sign in at Member Login at the upper right hand corner of the District Home page In the same area of the District Home Page you will then see a Welcome and your name along with Member Area. CLICK Member Area CLICK Grants You will then see a Drop-Down with a prompt for Submitting a Grants Request and My Club Grants
Applying for a Grant Use the Grants module at the District 5520 website CLICK Submit a Grant Request REMEMBER: A club must be qualified to submit a grant request. Only club members that have bene trained and are current can make the submission.
Applying for a Grant To send the Grant Request to District CLICK Submit District will notify you if your initial request has been approved. NOTE: This approval is NOT a final grant approval
Completing the Grant Application In the grants Module go to My Club Grants CLICK the project’s name or CLICK Open on the right
Revisions to a Grant Application District may determine that additional information is required. You will receive an notification regarding what is needed Supply the information or corrections to the application and CLICK TBD to submit the changes to District
Approval of a Grant Application For Global Grants you will receive an notifying you that you can begin the application process by using The Rotary Foundation on-line form. At that point forward you will be dealing with The Rotary Foundation For Community Grants you will receive an notification that you grant has been approved.

Wrap - Up Completion of this evening’s session qualifies you to submit grant requests on behalf of your club Your qualification is good through June 30, 2017 All of you are now entered in the ClubRunner Grants Module’s database along with your club
Wrap - Up However, you club is not qualified to apply for a grant until it executes a Grant Agreement and it is accepted by District Presently only a District Community is available. A similar Global Grant Agreement will be available soon at the same location.
Wrap - Up The Community Grant Agreement can be found at the District website. Log in at Member Login. Then CLICK Member Area followed by a Click at Grants. At Grants CLICK District Grants followed by a CLICK to District Grant Documents. Open Community Grant Agreement Save to your PC and Print. Complete document and return as directed.
