What is Confluence Confluence is the world’s most popular commercial enterprise wiki that lets you edit and share wiki pages, documents and rich content in a secure manner It is a platform for an organization to collaborate across teams and share business knowledge. It provides a central repository to place all the project related documentation As it sits on cloud majorly, there is no fear of loosing any data Confluence harvest knowledge by capturing knowledge and conversations as “a side effect of work” by providing a transparent system and an opportunity for everyone to contribute Confluence allows doing more with less by facilitating collaboration and information flow

Why Confluence

Confluence Features No Limit-Can create n number of spaces for different departments or projects Space contains n number of pages in a tree structure Share anything using confluence like images, videos, documents, charts, to do list etc. Permissions-control permissions of each space for people and groups

Versioning – Log down details of every change – Easy to track the changes

Notifications o Recent Updates o & Watch

Standard templates – Confluence has some very useful templates that gives an instant start to document. – My personal favourites are meeting notes, product requirement templates.

Discussions o Add inputs/comments easily to the document o notification when a change/comment is made

Powerful Search o Search all types of content in all the spaces o Search within space
