The ancient Egyptian's would of lived in mud brick house's. There were three different kingdom's of Egypt back then like the old kingdom the middle kingdom and the new kingdom. Each of these kingdom's where ruled by different pharaoh's that’s why there was different kingdom's h t t p : / / w w w. g o o g l e. c o. u k / u r l ? s a = i & r c t = j & q = t h e % 2 0 r i v e r % 2 0 n il e & s o u r c e = i m a g e s & c d = & c a d = r j a & u a c t = 8 & d o c i d = j e g M g h l 7 V 0 P O U M & t b n i d = i u j v Z I R S t r V W a M : & v e d = 0 C A U Q j R w & u r l = h t t p % 3 A % 2 F % 2 F w w w. r i v e r n il e c r u i s e. c o m % 2 F c r u i s e - s h i p s % 2 F n il e - c r u i s e - m s - m a h r o u s a. a s p & e i = H z I 0 U _ n j A c 6 U h Q f P x 4 C I A g & p s i g = A F Q j C N F 2 0 J A 2 Z 9 A - Y r H 2 u U Z I B j 0 1 G k H l W A & u s t = Old kingdom Middle kingdom New kingdom

A pharaoh is a king in ancient Egypt's time. A pharaoh is the king of Egypt so he is the boss. He is very special and he make’s the rule’s just like the queen does today. The pharaoh is believed to be half human and half god and is very important, because he has to fight off the enemy's

Ancient Egyptian's believed in live after death because they thought if they had I life now so they thought if they did mummification they would live on the body’s they would live on in the afterlife. Egyptian's believed in many god’s they believed the god of the afterlife would whisper to them in death. Egyptian's used mummification to preserve the body’s they washed the dead body in the Nile's water and took all the organs out of the right side of the body then they took the organ’s out of the left side of the body and they took the brain out using a hook they put it through the nose into the brain and pulled it out bit by bit because the Egyptian's thought the brain was worthless but they kept the heart in the body because they thought the heart was important to the body they thought the heart was in charge of the body. Then they put the body in a pyramids so they would be safe. Pyramid's were to block anyone getting to their body’s. lots of pyramid’s where built by slave’s or some where built by Israelites if you have heard of mosses' but that’s another story. Lot's of pyramid’s are still there in Egypt because they are so well made they are still here today.

Temple’s were made for the Gods, so they can worship them and they put offerings in there for the Gods. They put on festivals and the temple’s were also there for the commemoration’s of the pharaoh’s. Temple’s were made with stone so they would last forever.

I think pyramid’s are important for information for archaeologist’s to find them so they can see what people used to be like. So I think that hat thought us a lot about ancient Egypt. I think pyramid’s are good for discovering the past because they have some picture’s on them to tell what their life was like from the past.

ancient Egyptian's communicated by using their writing called hieroglyphics and that is why we know a lot about the ancient Egyptian's and their life style and some of their secrets.
