Homework Policy Purpose To enrich and extend classroom learning where necessary. To develop effective, independent work habits and study skills. To show progress Amount of HW As per our superintendent, homework will be unfinished classwork and any additional skill practice the teacher or parent deems necessary. Homework may include… MATH: Daily Home Link or fact practice; optional weekend challenges SPELLING: Review spelling words through various practice activities; spelling activity menu; workbook page GRAMMAR/PHONICS: Practice worksheets RAZ-KIDS: Complete one Fictional book/Informational text weekly along with quiz. Try to complete by Wednesday. READING LOGS: Assigned at the beginning of the month. 10 minutes reading per night. Will receive rewards for reaching reading goal. Will change each month.

HW and Friday Folders Homework Please initial student homework each night to ensure completion. Homework is marked with HW in student folders; Remind st marking period If you have any questions regarding your child’s homework completion, please or contact teacher through note. Friday Folders Sent home every other Friday. Contains graded assignments and classwork. Please sign and return to school on Monday.

Remind 101 A free app that is used to remind parents and students of upcoming activities, tests, and class assignments. Phone numbers are never shared. You can text me from 7:30am until 7:30pm.
