We have a full class of 30, plus other children on the waiting list. So congratulations to those of you who have been lucky enough to secure a school place with us for September, and we will be in touch with you all later in the Summer term to invite you to the ‘Reception Parents Welcome Meeting.’ Scholastic Half Price Book Fair Thank you to all the parents/carers who have supported the book fair this week. Parent conduct: Can I remind all parents and carers about expected conduct on school site. We expect parents and carers to set a good example in their own speech and behaviour towards staff, other parents and children. Attendance In the Spring term, a number of children were absent from school for a variety of reasons. Can I reiterate the importance of children attending school, as missing out on lessons leaves children vulnerable to falling behind in their learning. Alongside the local authority, I will be monitoring attendance very carefully over the next few weeks, and inviting parents into school to discuss attendance concerns. Reporting absence If your child is absent from school, please remember to call the school office on by 8.55am. School Uniform Children can come into school in summer uniform this term if they wish. Girls may wear red and white checked dresses and boys/girls can wear grey school shorts.
