Diving in Los Arcos Rose Mikhail at Banderas Bay, Los Arcos, Mexico March 2016 One would think Puerto Vallarta is a place for laying in the Mexican sun, exploring the city and enjoying the nightlife, but it is so much more. Just a short walk after Puerto Vallarta’s Malecon, there is Los Arcos. Los Arcos has restaurants, a modern pier and dive shops. Popular activities for tourists in the area are snorkeling and scuba diving. This can be found off the coast of Los Arcos in Banderas Bay. Just ask KU student, Rose Mikhail (pictured right). Rose always has had a passion for diving. We asked if she would dive again at Banderas Bay, and she replied, “Most definitely yes!” Rose has plans to go back for more diving fun.
