Mentoring at Bond Dickinson HOW IT WORKED: Students from Cardinal Hume worked with mentors at Bond Dickinson as part of national scheme called PRIME Monthly sessions each lasting one afternoon. Sessions covered aspects of following a career in Law but a key focus was on preparing students through the development of key skills and attributes required by employers.

Outcomes Understanding of a professional environment Increased confidence Focus on aspirations Communication skills Decision making Independent thinking Context and reason for learning “That could be me”

TMT Challenge at Deloitte HOW IT WORKED: Team of students worked on a technology based challenge – designed an interactive app called ‘Clash Rooms’. Designed the app together with staff from Deloitte. Prepared presentation. Delivered to Deloitte Head Office and representatives from major industry. Competed against other schools from around UK. Deloitte also work with Cardinal Hume students to offer mentoring and guidance. Watch out for our Snowdog!
