2016 Student Assessment Division Texas Education Agency STAAR Administration Receiving Test Materials Refer to the Calendar of Events for dates of when to expect shipments. Shipments will be combined and include both nonsecure and secure materials. Precoded answer documents may arrive in a separate shipment. – Beginning March 2016, precoded labels will be eliminated. All precoded information will be placed directly onto the answer documents.

JANUARY 2016 Student Assessment Division Texas Education Agency STAAR Administration Returning Scorable Materials White cartons for the return of scorable materials are provided with each campus shipment. Cartons have pre-affixed return tracking label with green stripe. Cartons are flattened for delivery to campus and require the campus coordinator to tape the bottom of the box prior to returning to the district. JANUARY 2016 Student Assessment Division Texas Education Agency STAAR Administration Returning Scorable Materials Box counts should be recorded by the Campus Coordinator prior to returning to the district. The count (X of Y) should reflect the number from the given campus for scorable materials only. Tracking labels are assigned to the specific campus for purposes of tracking return boxes. Do not consolidate materials from multiple campuses.
