Who are we? A network of volunteers Founded in 2006 in Karachi Pakistan Registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 in Karachi, Pakistan (0114/2007) Exempted from income tax 100+ Members Management Committee (4 individuals) Office Volunteers (6 individuals) Field Force (8 individuals) Coordinator (6 individuals) Donors (more than 50)

Who are our beneficiaries? Poor families in Pakistan referred by our members who are affected by inflation and struggling to survive We provide: Family assistance for food, rent, medicines Educational scholarship to their children Income opportunities to setup small enterprise Each family is assigned an application # and complete information maintained about family, payments, reviews, documents

How do we operate? Office Work is manage by volunteers e.g. accounting, payments, application management, information technology, marketing content development done through web-based BMS Field work done by a mix of volunteers and paid staff (variable cost based on # of visits-our overheads are < 15 %) Use virtual office to save office costs, commuting and to involve volunteers from any part of the world

What have we achieved? Established a web-based 6 step process : Submission of application by member from anywhere and anytime Verification by field volunteer within 3 days by home/school visit Decision by Management Committee within a week Payment by Payments Team at the end of each month Review by Review volunteers every quarter Sponsorship by Donor through web or personal contact, All processes are Web-based through BMS system Complete information available for each case on the web. Currently supporting 117 families (open application) Supported approx 200 families (total # applications)
