ICT STRATEGY AND POLICY What do you believe is/should be the scope of this group? ICT Strategy and Policy or simply an ICT Policy Document? What do you think is the different between ICT Policy and ICT Strategy? It should be ICT policy and Strategy. An ICT Strategy is a special plan made to achieve the organizational goals and objectives, but the ICT Policy is to a set of rules made to govern the utilization of ICT infrastructures and services. Scope should be ICT Policy. For me, ICT strategy is formulated in reference to the institution strategic plan which different for each institution. But general guidelines can be agreed

Thank of other challenges and/or opportunities at your University. Academy management, Almost all important areas are covered. But it will be nice if we include website development, web content related issues like who is responsible regarding the content development,edition and so on with respect to the accountability of the content. check weather universities have security,data recovery, back up and disaster recovery services Collaboration with other Departments like IoT and Library Directorate should be described clearly and neat on the ICT policy Digital signage and website - as both are highly dependent on contents provided by different sections mainly the public relation office of the University. Integration of ICT services in teaching learning activities to the extent it matters Issues like standard of work, and device.
