Classroom Safari It’s time for you to become aware of your surroundings Task: identify and locate items in the room A few reminders: –Make sure to be safe (e.g. no running, etc.) –No Talking (You don’t want to share your findings)

Classroom Rules-The Basics Focus Five: 1.Be Respectful 2.Be Responsible 3.Follow Directions 4.Keep your Hands and Feet to yourself 5.Be There-Be Ready Simple Rules = Easy to follow If all are followed, we will have a great time learning!

Classroom Rules-The Basics Focus 1= Be Respectful  Treat others as you wish to be treated  Clean up after yourself  Push your chairs in when you leave  Raise hand to be recognized  No sidebar conversations/ Chatter

Classroom Rules cont. And most importantly… o Stay in your seat until you are dismissed by the teacher o DO NOT pack up your belongings until after the teacher “wraps-up” the end of class

Classroom Rules-The Basics Focus 2= Be Responsible  Check the Agenda Board Daily / Google Calendar  Keep track of HW Assignments/Quizzes/Tests in your Planner  Google Classroom & Google Calendar  Turn in Assignments on Time  If absent, check for missing work and turn it in promptly
