ADDRESSING CONCERNS ATHLETE discusses concerns with Coach After 24 hr, if the issue is not resolved – the parent and athlete can set up a meeting to discuss concerns with Coach If after 48 hours and a meeting with the Coach, the issue is still not resolved – a meeting may be set up with the AD If this meeting does not resolve the issue, it may then be discussed with the principal of St. Joseph School MOST IMPORTANTLY: DO NOT CONFRONT A COACH BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER A PRACTICE OR CONTEST. – PLEASE TELL YOUR SPOUSE AND OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS ABOUT THE ABOVE.

COMMUNICATION We encourage an open relationship between coaches, players, & parents & keeping the communication line open. Parents should contact the coach to set up an appropriate time to address questions or concerns. It is easy to exhibit good sportsmanship when things are going our way. How do we conduct ourselves when things are not going our way?

Games/Tournaments Final Game schedule will not be out until after August 20. Football Games will start on August 27 and will be finished by Oct. 16. Volleyball games will start on Sept. 10 and finish by Oct. 9. Playoffs for 7/8 will begin after that date. Pre-season scrimmages for all. Tournament for 7 th & 8 th grade #1 & teams 7/8 grade teams only have playoffs. No post-season tournaments at this time.

PRACTICES PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLIER THAN 10 MINUTES BEFORE PRACTICE TIME UNLESS THERE IS AN ADULT. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE CIRCLE OR DROP OFF RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR. FOOTBALL PLAYERS HELP WITH EQUIPMENT. FIRST TEAMS-SET UP NETS AND COUNT BALLS. LAST TEAMS-TAKE DOWN NETS AND COUNT BALLS. THIS IS NOT THE COACH!! MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK.
