Ang Lee,(who is )known as a film director, is a hardworking and creative person. And he is the first Asian to win Oscar for Best Director. Ang Lee was born in Taiwan on October 23, Ang Lee attended the National Taiwan College of Arts in 1975, then went to the USA, where he studied directing and received master’s degree. However, he had been a househusband for 6 years before he had his big success. He earned Oscar nominations for three of his films. Later, he made more films such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Brokeback Mountain, for which he won Oscar for Best Director. Because of Ang Lee, many more people know about Chinese culture. He has set a good model for us to challenge ourselves to live our dreams.
