Reduce 20 ideas down to 5 using the 6-step checklist

The 6-step checklist 1.How much does the client desperately want the product? 2.Is it an inch-wide, mile-deep niche? 3.Are enough people searching for the topic? 4.How many other Google ads are there? 5.How many other ebooks are there (and can you differentiate?) 6.How much free information is available?

How to build a survey site 1.Buy the domain name and set up the hosting 2.Buy aweber to collect feedback 3.Build the website, including Google conversion code and a process to collect feedback. 4.Set up a Google Adwords campaign, with key words and ads.

What to do with a site that doesn’t make money Pause Google ads Increase the affiliate % and leave it on Clickbank Use SEO to get high on the free side of Google Look for sources of free publicity Give the ebook away for free and build a list JV with related sites

Next steps What to do after you’ve set up a successful site: Build another money-making ebook website on a different topic. Drive more traffic to your existing site using the "free traffic" strategies in eclass #23. Continue to increase the close rate of your existing site by making (and split testing) improvements to your sales letter. Set up a "back end" process to sell more product to people who have already bought your ebook. Set up an offline marketing system and sell the product in hard copy. (from eclass #24)

Next steps (continued) What to do after you’ve set up a successful site: Set up a monthly subscription process for people who have bought your ebook. Joint venture with people who have large databases of customers who would be interested in your ebook. Set up a viral marketing campaign to drive traffic to your site. Set up an "upsell" process whereby you sell a second product to customers at the point of ordering. Sell your money-making ebook website. (from eclass #24)
