Dear students, Welcome to the world of English prepositions! Let`s start!

We will be dealing with Prepositions of place Prepositions which show direction in, at, on, between, inside, outside, beside, in front of, behind, under into, out of, along, across, down, up, over

Prepositions of place The bear is in the box. The cat is on the armchair. The frog is under the mouse. The cat is at the door.

Check these… The girl is between the dolphins. The little sheep is beside the big one. The goalkeeper is in front of the goal. The penguin is behind the window.

Where are these animals? The lion is inside the cage. The dog is outside his kennel.

These are some prepositions which show direction The man is driving along the road. The boat is sailing across the sea. It is climbing up the tree. The man is skiing down the hill.

Check these as well… The dog is walking out of the kennel and inside the kennel. The penguins are jumping into the sea. They are flying over the country.

Now check you understand them. Look at the pictures and fill the prepositions: The Little Red Riding Hood is standing………..the tree. There is a wolf hiding………..…the tree. The basket is…..….the ground and there are delicious cakes ………. it. under behindon in
