BC and BA are opposite rays then  1 and  2 are Supplementary AB C

Example #1 M  1=119 M  2=? =61 

Example # 2 M  1= 3x + 10 M  2=2x – 5 3x x - 5=180 5x + 5= = - 5 5x=180X=35 M  1= 3(35) +10 =115  M  2= 2(35) – 5=65 

Example # 3 M  1 = 2/3 of M  2 Find the M  1 and M  2 2:3 2x + 3x=180 5x=180X=36 M  1= 2(36)=72  M  2= 3(36)=108 
