The Writing Process The Stages of the Writing Process Put the information you brainstormed into language appropriate for the assignment. No slang, IM or Text speak. Use boring, old, proper grammar. Write sentences and paragraphs even if they are not perfect. Don’t worry about grammar and conventions at this point. Read what you have written and judge if it says what you mean.
