What are the Steps to Connect Brother Printer to Wi-Fi?

Steps to follow:  First, you have to connect power cord of your machine to a power source and turn on your printer and next push “Menu”.  Once you do so, then push up or down arrow sign to choose the network and press OK.  After that, you have to press up or down arrow to choose WLAN and then press OK (this step is not required in some models).  Now you have to push up or down arrow sign to choose it setup wizard and then you will push OK.  Once you get WLAN Enable? Now you have to choose a preferred network that you wish your machine to join and then press OK.

 Now you can go with any given choices:  A. If you have an authentication on your Wi-Fi that requires a key then enter its key. Once you enter WEP key then press OK to apply this setting. It will give you YES and No option to apply this setting. You have to choose Yes.  B. If you don’t have any authentication mode then go to next step.  C. In case, your WLAN access route support WPS so to join your device you have to use automatic wireless mode and press UP key. You have to push WPS key on WLAN access point and then press UP arrow sign two times.  8.This machine will try to connect to your Wi-Fi you have chosen and when it is connected, your machine’s LCD shows you connected. This machine will print out your wireless status report and in case, it fails then check error code on the printed report.
