Madison Meadows The new Madison Meadows classroom building is undergoing a holistic energy modeling exercise to optimize construction costs, design efficiently, maximize the APS utility incentive and select energy efficient equipment that proves to be cost-effective and a good investment. The investment will more than pay for itself in first-cost savings and improved APS incentives.

Rebates and other savings Madison Camelview repair of chillers instead of replacement, prolonged life by estimated 5 years (capital funded). Madison Rose Lane replacement of compressors and heat exchangers $40,000 saved (capital funded). Madison Meadows cooling tower repairs instead of replacement. Installation of District wide water treatment for central plants extends life (capital funded). Madison #1 cooling tower replacement includes stainless instead of galvanized. Minimal investment ensures double life of components (bond funded). Repurposing of 3 year old 20 ton HVAC unit from Madison Park café to Madison Rose Lane (bond funded). Madison #1, campus wide roof rehabilitation (Applied and received preliminary SFB grant funding). Madison Camelview, fire alarm replacement (applied for and awarded SFB grant funding). District wide lighting upgrades, utilizing both bond and capital funds.
