The Academy of Master Clinicians Inaugural Guest Lectureship and Induction Ceremony/Reception The Academy of Master Clinicians is hosting its 1st Inaugural Speaker, Dr. Catherine C. DeAngelis, on April 18, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Levin Hall South Auditorium. The Induction of the 2016 Class of Master Clinicians will follow at 5 p.m. There will be a reception immediately follow the Induction Ceremony. Dr. DeAngelis is University Distinguished Service Professor Emerita in recognition for her outstanding service to Johns Hopkins, Professor of Pediatrics Emerita at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is the Editor in Chief Emerita of JAMA, having served as the first woman in that position.   Dr. DeAngelis will give her lecture on “Patient Care and Professionalism”, highlighting the basic tenets of clinical mastery. CNE/CME/CEU credit will be given to faculty who attend the lecture.
