Spend a Semester at Waseda in Tokyo! 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 　　　 The East Asian University Institute (EAUI) Program, Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies Waseda University Semester Exchange Program for Fall 2015 √About the EAUI Program √Financial Support The EAUI Program aims to produce “global Asian leaders” - individuals with high levels of expertise capable of contributing to the realization of both global and regional public interests. In the EAUI semester exchange program, you can spend one semester (fall) as an exchange student at Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies (GSAPS), Waseda University. You can choose to take courses either in English or Japanese. ◊ Each program participant is issued a roundtrip air ticket (economy class) between Tokyo and the airport near your school. ◊ There is an opportunity for you to apply for the JASSO scholarship (JPY80,000/month). ◊For those who did not pass the JASSO scholarship screening, a rent subsidy of JPY30,000/month will be provided. √Eligibility √ Academic Calendar ★ Language Requirement English: TOEFL iBT80, IELTS 6.0, TOEIC750, or Japanese: JLPT N1 Level Fall term: September 24 to February 4, 2016 Fall (first half) term: September 24 to November 24 You can choose to take quarter courses offered during the Fall (first half) term and stay in Japan only for half a semester.*You must fulfill some requirements. √ Application Schedule Late May: Application closed Mid-June: Letter of acceptance issued Early July to August: Confirmation of flights and visa application September 18: Orientation Day *Please follow the instructions of your school office regarding the submission of the application. √ Action Research Seminar Action Research Seminar is a course specifically designed for EAUI Program semester exchange students. This course offers you a series of research advice, lectures and discussions every week. In this course, you can get to visit some of the nationally significant institutions and facilities such as the National Diet Library and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
