Eligibility Requirements Meet minimum test score requirements Accuplacer: Reading – 64; Sentence Skills – 70; Elementary Algebra – 57 ACT: Reading – 17, English – 16; Math – 19 SAT: Reading – 25; Writing & Language – 26; Math – 24 NOTE: some occupational courses have lower minimum test score requirements

Eligibility Requirements cont. Must be approved by your high school guidance counselor (or parent for home school) and must be in the 9th-12th grade No residency or citizenship requirement Must be “ready” socially and academically Must be approved by your high school guidance counselor/ parent for home school and must be in the 9th-12th Grade Meet test score requirement ( COMPASS, Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT scores). No residency or citizenship requirement Must be socially ready to enroll in college. Maturity Academically and Psychologically

MOWR Required Documentation Complete STC admission application Complete GA Futures MOWR online application Complete MOWR student participation agreement with your high school counselor and submit it to STC’s High School Coordinator

MOWR Cost Tuition and books are 100% paid for by HOPE funding NOTE: This is not the same as the HOPE Scholarship and does not count against a student’s HOPE scholarship funding Students may incur expenses for occupational course related fees & supplies required for a particular course Examples: Culinary, Cosmetology, Welding, etc. Fees range from a few dollars to several hundred Earning both high school and college credit Tuition 100% paid in full. Required to pay program fees and supplies Joint enrolled students Earning College credit only Partial payment. Responsible for the difference in tuition not covered by HOPE Grant and must pay for books and supplies.

MOWR Benefits Earn college and high school credit Prepare for the rigor of college Flexibility Student can take up to 15 credit hours per semester Does not count against HOPE cap Earn college and high school credit at the same time Becomes acclimated to college course rigor and collegiate atmosphere Flexibility Course can be taken at college campus, online, or at high school (depends on number of students and course/program)
