STEM Week at Ripple School 22nd – 26th May 2017 An opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in your classroom. From Nursery to Year Six.

Its time to design and make your own “2D3D” robot. COMPETITION TIME. For Reception to Year 6. Its time to design and make your own “2D3D” robot. Using boxes and recycled materials you have at home, make you own 2D3D model. Use as many 2D and 3D shapes on your model as possible and if you can make it move, even better!! Please bring your model to school on Thursday 25th May 2017 to be judged. Prizes will include: STAR WAR LEGO sets for Reception and Key Stage One children. IMAX cinema tickets for a family of 4 to watch ROBOT film at the Science Museum, London for the winners in Lower and Upper Key Stage Two.

Resources we need for STEM Week in Years One and Two Resources we need for STEM Week in Years One and Two. Please start collecting small boxes, tubes, any unusual 3D boxes, plastic milk bottles, shoe boxes, small round pots, shiny material. Please bring to your class the week beginning 15th May 2017 and we will store it in the Infant hall at Suffolk Road and level 3 at Westbury site.
