Preparation for Parenthood Being a parent is one of the most important roles a person has in life. To be ready for parenting, a person needs to have a strong sense of commitment and desire to be a parent, a person needs to have emotional maturity to handle the changes and demands of parenthood, be aware of their own health (risks under 17 and over 35), remember it is expensive, it takes time, it takes skills, it takes energy, and it takes communication Remember to have reasonable expectations for your child and yourself emotional maturity Being responsible enough to consistently put someone else’s needs before your own needs. parenting The process of caring for children and helping them grow and develop.

Preparation for Parenthood Raising a child is expensive, so managing resources wisely is important for families. There are many ways to learn parenting skills. Parents develop in stages as their children develop.
