REDUCING VALVE UG-149

REDUCING VALVE UG 149 IS THE PART OF THE BRAKE SYSTEM. THE PURPOSE OF THIS VALVE IS TO REDUCE THE HYD PRESSURE ACCORDING TO THE PRESSURE APPLIED BY THE PILOT ON THE TOE PADDLE.

REDUCING VALVE - UG-149 LOCATION

OPERATING TEMPERATURE ±60ºC OPERATING PRESSURE 220 KG/CM2 BODY – ALUMINUM ALLOY INTERNAL PARTS – DIFFERENT MATERIALS FAILURE OF AIRCRAFT BRAKING SYSTEM REASONS OF COMPONENT FAILURE ARE DUE TO LEAKAGE OF HYD FLUID AND WEARING OUT OF SLIDE VALVE & LINER

THE COMPONENT IS COMPLEX IN DESIGN REQUIRING ASSEMBLING OF DIFFERENT CRITICAL PARTS THE REQUIREMENT FOR FIVE YEARS IS 100
