Sir Edward Camp Overview For students aged 9 – 13 years old Campus course held at the renowned King's Ely 15 hours of English tuition per week 2 full-day excursions per week (except during departure week) Maximum capacity of 200 students at one time Traditional 1000 year old school, with a large campus and excellent sports facilities Excellent location next to Ely Cathedral in the centre of this small mediaeval city Very popular course, early reservation advised
Sir Edward Course Centre Located next to Ely Cathedral in the heart of the small city of Ely International private boarding school during the school year, founded over 1000 years ago Residences in mediaeval buildings Students live, study and eat on campus, with activities also taking place in the school grounds High supervision ratios Students are supervised at all times Sports facilities include artificial turf pitch, indoor gym, tennis courts, an outdoor heated swimming pool and many grass playing fields Common rooms in residences Computer rooms with free email access

Sir Edward Accommodation Rooms shared by two or more students of the same sex which are spacious, clean and comfortable Several residential buildings all on campus, with staff living in each building to supervise Shared bathrooms and showers All meals provided on campus in the mediaeval dining hall Free laundry provided by the school staff Change of bed linen once per week Students are not allowed off-campus unless part of a supervised activity or excursion

Sir Edward Harry Potter theme The Harry Potter books feature as the main theme on this camp. Activities relating to the books and movies form part of the camp's English lessons, its afternoon activity options and some evening activities. The Harry Potter themes is designed to: Add a flavour of “Hogwarts” to the traditional British boarding school experience Bring the language of the books and films alive to help with English learning, vocabulary and progression Offer “Harry Potter”-based activities, with focus on magic, mystery, legends, costume and teamwork Give opportunities to visit places linked to the films
