Office 365 Partner admin center Goal is to make it easier and faster to view & administer customers Available to MPN network members with a signed MOSPA Partners sign into their Office 365 tenant to access the Partner features Customer Acquisition Customer Visibility Customer Administration On the highest level, Partners have consistently told us that it’s critical for them to be at the center of the customer lifecycle. Partners are in the best position to own the relationship with the customer. The investments we make in tools and capabilities are organized around helping Partners achieve this. There are three main categories of capabilities that address this: Customer Acquisition. Help Partners “Sell”. This means helping Partners grow their business by giving them the tools to sell to customers and acquire customers. Customer Visibility. Help Partners “See”. This means helping Partners have better visibility and awareness of their customer’s Office 365 environment, including visibility into service health information and subscription information. Customer Administration. Help Partners “Service”. This means giving Partners simple and flexible admin capabilities, including the ability to perform configuration tasks on behalf of customers and providing access to diagnostic information to help support customers. Examples of Admin tools include the ability to manage customers from within the Partner admin center and configure customers via PowerShell. Create trial invitations Create purchase offers Send delegated admin requests Service heath information Manage service requests List of your customers Search, sort and filter customers Admin-on-behalf-of Capabilities and tools to help Partners own the customer lifecycle

Setting up delegated administration Microsoft Office365 10/3/2017 Setting up delegated administration This section describes how Office 365 Partners can offer delegated administration to their customers. Note: The partner with delegated admin privileges can also be a customer’s Partner of Record (POR) but does need to be. It is the customer’s responsibility to authorize a partner to be its Delegated Administration partner by responding to the partner’s invitational email. The roles of Partner of Record (POR) and Delegated Administration partners are separate, and the customer designates them separately. This design allows a customer to choose one partner for purchase advice and another partner for implementation or ongoing managed services. It also allows partners to choose whether to build business with a specialty in one or both of these roles. Even when a customer has authorized a partner to perform administrative tasks on its behalf, the customer can still contact Microsoft support directly: Having an authorized Delegated Administration partner does not forfeit the customer’s right to submit service requests. Also, the customer does not need to assign a license to the delegated admin partner. © 2012 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
