MINORITY-SERVING AND UNDER-RESOURCED SCHOOL DIVISION (MSURSD)

MSURSD Unit was created in response to a series of Presidential Executive Orders Provide assistance to strengthen the administrative capabilities of Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISI), Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions (ANNH), Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI), Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCU), and Predominately Black Institutions (PBI).

MSURSD Expand opportunities for these institutions to participate in federal programs. Proactively identify the unique service needs of HBCU’s, HSI’s, TCU’s, PBI’s, AANAPISI’s, and ANNH’s as it relates to the management of the Title IV programs. Provide the assistance required to ensure continued participation in the Title IV programs which the institution has chosen to participate.
