How did Gilmer ISD roll this out? Azure AD Connect https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=47594 Download and install Organizations can provide users with a common hybrid identity across on-premises or cloud- based services leveraging Windows Server Active Directory and then connecting to Azure Active Directory. Administrators can provide conditional access based on application resource, device and user identity, network location and multifactor authentication. Users can leverage their common identity through accounts in Azure AD to Office 365, Intune, SaaS apps and third-party applications. Developers can build applications that leverage the common identity model, integrating applications into Active Directory on-premises or Azure for cloud-based applications

What are some Issues and Solutions? Installation You will need to know your AD information Follow the wizard Set up an office 365 Admin user Provide DOMAIN ADMIN permissions to the AD object Apply correct user in the wizard Synchronization Passwords Some were not uniform – the system complained Some were not present Usernames Some were not in convention with Azure – had to remove some hyphenated names Some were “duplicated” in the upload – Renamed or deleted and re-added
