St. Mary’s County Gymnastics Center Leased space on Great Mills Road Operating both recreation & competitive programs for over 600 participants Open for birthday parties & private rentals Classes & competitive practices are held Monday-Saturday Great Mills Swimming Pool Year round facility Offers individual swim lessons, water aerobics, adaptive aquatics Lap swimming Space available for swim teams (including high school meets) Chancellor’s Run Regional Park * Year round facility * Space available for rentals, classes & meetings * Outdoor fields & sports pavilion * Bocce Ball Courts

Fiscal Operations Operate as an Enterprise Fund All revenues are realized through: Program Fees Sponsorships Donations Maintain all costs associated with facility maintenance Designed to cover all expenses. Any net balance is transferred to a reserve account.

Marketing The Program Guide is distributed each season: Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall. This year there is a special Summer Camps promotion – The Scoop. Scholarship Program To Qualify: * Receive Free or Reduced Lunch The Scholarship Program was established to assist with families in need wishing to participate in summer camps and other recreation programs. Those who qualify receive 50% off the program fee. Funding is provided through the annual Scott Verbic Memorial Golf Tournament & Easter Egg Festival. To Qualify: * Receive Free or Reduced Lunch * Independence Card (for adults) * One scholarship per individual per year (i.e. if you register for basketball in November, you are able to apply again the following November) * Awarded as long as funding is available
