Chemical principles of «Zeoforming» process Aromatic hydrocarbons General process to acquire high octane benzine fractions from hydrocarbons, boiling at 200-220оС, on zeolite KH-30 type catalysts includes several consequent and parallel chemical acid-base reactions, progressing by carbon-ion mechanism. There are two stages according to the scheme below: I Paraffins + Olefins Paraffins II Aromatic hydrocarbons Paraffins С2-С6 + I Naphtenes Olefins II At stage (I) there are splitting reactions of C-C hydrocarbons connection making intermediate olefin fractions with high endoenergic heat effect. At next stage (II), resulting from hydrogen disproportionation in olefins, followed by transmuting of olefins into paraffin and aromatic hydrocarbons, going with high exothermic reaction heat effect. 11
