Get Your Six to Eight a day

Hydration Fill up 1 gallon of water in the morning and drink for your water supply to boost your metabolism, flush your kidneys, hydrate your colon and create energy. It can be hard to drink that much plain water so make your smoothie.

Hydration Solstic Energy, Solstic Revive, Solstic Twenty Four, Solstic Immune, Chlorophyll or herbal teas or apple cider vinegar drinks because these can count towards your hydration count. Coffee, soda, black tea and green tea actually dehydrate the body so it will be especially important to rehydrate the body if you consume any of these during the day.

Exercise Wear your pedometer and shoot for a goal of 10,000 steps that is equivalent to 5 miles. Increase your steps by 500 a day until you reach this goal.

Exercise Some easy ways to increase the number of steps that you are taking are walk the dog, go for a walk with a friend, child, relative or spouse, take the elevator instead of the stairs, run on your rebounder, park out further from the store or walk to the store, walk to the post office, walk while you talk on the phone, mall walk, clean the house, mop the floors or just walk the neighborhood and get creative ideas.

Exercise Get a workout partner, pick up a new sport, get the family involved, join a team activity.

Exercise Find ways to increase daily movement. Some ideas to increase daily movement in everyday activities are doing squats while brushing your teeth, work your weights while watching a movie, use rebounder while listening to educational webinars or watching a movie, doing reverse sit ups upon rising, pushups against the table and the list can go on and on.

Increasing Exercise Each time you drink 8 oz. of your water supply for the day, stop for 10 seconds and do 10 jumping jacks, run in place, do side taps etc…. By the time you have consumed your gallon of water you will have done an extra 160 movements.
