There are few combinations that evoke glamour and fun as much as the perfect fit of Wine Women & Shoes. Los Angeles’ wine-savvy, shoe loving women will kick up their heels and sip fine wines from participating wineries, enjoy signature dishes and savory bites from distinguished Los Angeles chefs and restaurants, and shop the latest shoes and accessories from fabulous fashion vendors all while supporting Children's Action Network.  Over the last five years, WWS has raised more than $1.5 million and helped change the lives of thousands of youth in foster care. SOARING TO NEW ‘SHOE’ HEIGHTS Children’s Action Network (CAN) uses the power of the entertainment community to increase awareness about children’s issues and make them a top priority in everyday life. CAN is currently dedicated to finding homes for the more than 107,000 children in the United States who are waiting for an adoptive family and improving outcomes for the more than 500,000 children in foster care. CREATING A WIN WIN! Wine Women & Shoes fundraisers create an opportunity for partnerships between charities, wineries, shoe and accessory retailers, corporate sponsors and women in the community. In addition to raising money, these events raise awareness for charities, increase sales for wineries and retail partners, and provide community exposure for corporate sponsors. Change Your Shoes. A Child’s Life! A GLIMPSE INTO OUR PROGRAMS FosterMore FosterMore is dedicated to changing attitudes about youth in foster care and encouraging the public to become engaged in providing better futures for youth in care. National Adoption Day A collective national effort to raise awareness about children in foster care waiting to find permanent, loving families and celebrate all families who adopt. Nearly 50,000 children have been adopted from foster care on National Adoption Day since 2002. Children’s Action Network Presents Heart Gallery Los Angeles A special exhibit of photographs featuring Los Angeles foster youth, designed to highlight the need to find loving families for waiting children. A Home for the Holidays An annual special on CBS, which features musical performance and celebrities presenting inspirational stories about adoption. Thousands of children have found homes as a result. SantaCAN A unique gift drive for Los Angeles foster youth that ensures that the holiday season is a wonderful time for these children by making sure each child receives their most wished for gift form a wish list they compiled. More than 6,000 wishes have been granted since the program’s inception.

MARKETING STRATEGY + MUCH MORE! Save-the-Date A e-blast formally announcing the event date and theme, as well as appropriate sponsors, will be distributed to targeted lists of donors, members, and previous WWS supporters and guests through electronic mail. Expected audience: 5,000+ Program Distributed to all guests at the event. This book includes event details, sponsor recognition, Children’s Action Network program information, and live and silent auction item descriptions. Expected audience: 350+ Webpage The Wine Women & Shoes website will be updated with event and sponsor information and include links to appropriate sponsor webpages. It will also link back to the Children’s Action Network webpage and online registration. Invitation The full-color event invitation will be mailed to current sponsors, guests, targeted donors and supporters approximately 7-8 weeks before the event. The invitation will include recognition for appropriate sponsors and event details. Expected audience: 3,000+ Social Media With an audience of over 2,000 spread across social media outlets, the Children’s Action Network will link guests/followers to our mission, our sponsors and their messages through dynamic, engaging and fabulous content. Newsletters Newsletters will be sent to the entire network (5,000+) of Children’s Action Network members, donors, volunteers, and friends with the latest news on event updates, activities, promotions, and more. + MUCH MORE!
