Formula for Cookies 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (sweet cream, natural flavoring, milk) 1 cup packed light-brown sugar (granulated sugar, molasses) 1/2 cup granulated sugar (cane sugar) 1 large egg 1/2 cup chunky-style applesauce (apples, water, white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg) 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (100% natural whole grain Quaker quality rolled oats) 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour ( bleached wheat flour, malted flour, barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid) 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) 1/4 teaspoon baking powder (cornstarch, sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum, sulfate, monocalcium phosphate) 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt (salt, calcium silicate)

Process Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix butter and sugar on low. Add egg and applesauce. Mix until well blended (2 to 3 minutes) Mix in oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Using a 1 ½ inches ice cream scoop, drop dough onto baking sheet 2 inches apart. Cook 13 to 15 minutes. Let stand on baking sheets for 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack.
