Advertisement Animation - Banners Over time it has become increasingly popular for businesses to use animation advertisements around their websites. The most common type used is ‘banners’. Banners are designed to catch the users attention with flashing imagery, lots of colour or sometimes through relating items. Banner animation can often be tailored to the users interests through cookies stored on the device from their browsing history. 1. GUI Animation - Graphical User Interface Elements Interface elements which are animated are used across the web in order to give the user feedback on their actions. Information & Educational Animation Animation can also be used in video clips as a form of information and education. This may be a video clip describing something with speech or it can be interactive and might be educating people with something more specific - this is often used in classrooms if a physical demonstration cannot be carried out.
