History 1928 E. Horibata & Co., Ltd. was established. Started mainly with trading in German chemical companies, and also sales and import & export of various types of chemical intermediates for dyeing, pigments, and etc. 1990 As part of the re-organization strategy, the Company name, E. Horibata & Co., Ltd. was changed to Chukan Butsu Ltd. 1992 Yashiro Distribution Center was established in Hyogo prefecture. 1997 A representative office was established in Nantong, China. 2001 Head Office and Yashiro Distribution Center obtained ISO 9001:2000. 2006 A representative office was established in Pune, India 2007 Tokyo Office was established. 2014 Chukan Butsu Exim Pvt Ltd was established in Ankleshwer, India.
