False Assumptions Are you making them?

A thing that is accepted as truth without proof. What is an assumption? A thing that is accepted as truth without proof.

We are now going to look at ELEVEN stories. We make assumptions every day... you may not even realize you are doing it. We are now going to look at ELEVEN stories. Can you figure out the solution without making assumptions?

Directions: 1. Put your name and block on the card. 2. Number your card 1-11. 3. Draw a line vertically down your card. (look at board for model of what your card should look like. 4. At the top of the first column write “my guess” 5. At the top of the second column write “false assumption” You may ask me yes or no questions only.
