Technical Preparatory Education Completing training for scientific competence The courses are tailored for continuing studies at KTH and you are trained in both problem solving, creative thinking, and to get a good study technique for the future.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Chemistry (180 hp) A broad foundation in chemistry, chemical engineering and environmental protection Large part of the teaching in project form with questions from the industry. After graduation there are many industries that are possible employers, ranging from pharmaceuticals, food and paint to water and energy issues.
Master of Science in Engineering Chemistry (300 hp) "Chemical engineers are needed to solve the future energy and environmental issues" Henrik Kusar, programansvarig Adapted to the requirements of the broad range of skills and special knowledge. Technical chemistry has close cooperation with companies and research groups and students must solve real problems in projects.
Master’s Programmes (180 hp) Chemical Engineering for Energy and the Environment Macromolecular Materials Polymer Technology (Joint Nordic Five Tech programme) Molecular Science and Engineering
Master’s programme: CHEMICAL ENGINEERING FOR ENERGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT Master’s programme in Chemical Engineering for Energy and the Environment provides students with comprehensive engineering tools, helping to solve the challenges of how to best use our energy and natural resources.
Master’s programme: MOLECULAR SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING Master’s programme in Molecular Science and Engineering aims to provide in-depth knowledge of molecular systems and tools for advanced careers in industry, academia and society.
Master’s programme: MACROMOLECULAR MATERIALS Provides students with the tools to develop innovations for advanced health care, energy production, green packaging, surface coatings and many other applications.
Master’s programme: POLYMER TECHNOLOGY Joint Nordic Five Tech programme- Double degree programme Gives students the comprehensive tools needed to develop future materials for advanced health care, energy production, green packaging, surface coatings and many other applications. Students study at two universities, graduate with a double degree and acquire comprehensive skills is polymer technology.
A strong research and education environment at one of Europe’s leading technical universities KTH Research Assessment Exercise 2008 & 2012: “...it can be concluded that the School of Chemical Science and Engineering probably is the strongest among all Schools at KTH in research and research education.
