Bill of Rights Quiz from Last week John was arrested and since he could not afford a lawyer the government provided him with one. 6th Amendment (everyone gets a lawyer) This time of year Mr. Smith is celebrating Kwanza while John is preparing for Christmas. 1st Amendment (freedom to practice your religion) Hilda was arrested and her trial by jury took place soon after. 6th Amendment (speedy trial..not 7th b/c is not a civil trial) Veronica is accused of a crime.
