Community Attendance About 150 members of the community attended, with a ratio of 1 parent to every 3 children Children ranged from toddlers to about 10 years of age
General Information This event has become an annual event co-hosted by Alpha Chi Sigma, American Chemical Society-Student Affiliates, R.E.A.C.T., and AiChe. Zeta members accounted for about 60% of all volunteers
General Information There were 10 hands-on stations run by brothers, including making smile and bouncy balls, invisible inks, making kaleidoscopes, food chemistry, and many more!
General Information Each station was intended to help educate the children about chemistry and science by having fun, hands-on activities and explaining what is happening so that they can understand.
General Information There were also two demo shows performed by a faculty member. These shows allow for more interesting reactions and chemical ideas to be presented for the members of the community.
General Information During the event, all brothers dressed up in Halloween costumes and handed out candy at the stations This gave a safe and educational environment for the community to celebrate Halloween
General Information Publicity was generated by hanging flyers in the community libraries, elementary schools, coffee shops, and other restaurants and stores. Ads in the newspaper, on TV, and on the radio were run.

Conclusion This event was a huge success, with a 50% increase in attendance this year! Brothers and pledges both attributed this event to one of the most fun things they did this year!
