Our trip to the Blue Planet Aquarium

We saw lots of different types of fish. In the Northern Stream we saw lots of Rainbow Trout. We could see them through the glass swimming in the water. There we lots of Rainbow trout in the tank all different sizes.

The fish swam really close to the glass and it was like we could touch them! All the children liked this fish because of how it looked and it kept swimming up the glass so we could see its tummy.

There were lots of brightly coloured and striped fish swimming around with all the really big fish!

It was spot the Tortoise time!! We liked looking at the tortoise’s hiding in their shells. We had good fun counting how many we could see and having to count again when we realised one was hiding!

We searched for the different frogs in their habitat. Some were really difficult to see as they were so small.

We saw the fish from high up and under waterin the tanks.

We saw lots of Clownfish or as the children called them NEMO fish!

We went through the tunnel and walked underneath the SHARKS!

All that walking made us hungry!

The Aquatheatre Show We saw the divers swimming with the fish and the SHARKS! We watched them feed the sting rays and all the other fish in the tank.

We then went outside to watch the otters being fed.

We had a fantastic day at Blue Planet Aquarium and the children were beautifully behaved. We hope you have enjoyed seeing what we did on our trip!
