How do students benefit from Cambridge programmes? Space for subtitle 20pt We prepare students for life – helping them to develop an informed curiosity and lasting passion for learning. Cambridge helps students develop thinking and learning skills – so they become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. Success with Cambridge opens doors to the world’s best universities – in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada and beyond. It’s what you’d expect from an organisation that is part of the world-leading University of Cambridge. Cambridge programmes prepare students for life – helping them to develop an informed curiosity and lasting passion for learning. Cambridge helps students become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. These are the attributes of Cambridge learners. We design all our curriculum and assessments with the Cambridge learner attributes in mind. The five attributes are our way of recognising that students need to develop attitudes and life skills throughout their education, as well as academic skills, in order to be successful at university and in employment.  Image: the circuitry of a motherboard

What do our students study? We want each student to fulfil their potential and make the most of their strengths and interests. We offer a wide range of subjects and let every student choose the subjects they love and the subjects they’re best at. We design programmes – with the help of expert educators in schools and universities – to challenge students, and get them excited about what they’re learning. Presenter’s Name Job Title Date The Cambridge programme takes students on a journey through Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Secondary 1, Cambridge Secondary 2 and Cambridge Advanced. Students can join at any stage.  The curriculum in each stage has aims and objectives that support students to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. These are the attributes of Cambridge learners. Our programmes are flexible, so teachers can use examples that are relevant to students’ local context and culture. Students learn in English, and our assessment is accessible to speakers of English as a second or foreign language. Image: the visor of an astronaut’s helmet

What do our students study? Students learn about the key concepts of each subject in depth, so they understand them inside and out. Our programmes are flexible, so teachers can use examples that are relevant to students’ local context and culture. Students learn in English, and our assessment is accessible to speakers of English as a second or foreign language. Our programmes are flexible so teachers can use examples that are relevant to students' local context and culture. Students learn in English and our assessment is accessible to speakers of English as a second or foreign language. Students can use our past papers and learner guides to prepare for Cambridge exams. It’s a good idea for students to familiarise themselves with different styles of exam questions, as this will give them a good understanding of the knowledge and skills they need to develop during the course.  We work closely with textbook publishers to make sure our programmes are well-supported.

How does a Cambridge programme work? Presentation title over 2 lines When we design our programmes, we start by identifying what a student needs to learn. Students have to demonstrate understanding and the core knowledge of a subject, as well as think critically. Exams are there to recognise, reward and encourage learning. The curriculum in each stage has aims and objectives that support students to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. These are the attributes of Cambridge learners. We want each student to fulfil their potential and make the most of their strengths and interests. So we offer a wide range of subjects. And we let every student choose the subjects they love and the subjects they’re best at.  We design programmes – with the help of expert educators in schools and universities – to challenge students, and get them excited about what they’re learning.

How does a Cambridge programme work? The Cambridge programmes and qualifications lead seamlessly from primary through to secondary and pre-university years, for 5 to 19 year olds. They take students on a journey through: Cambridge Primary Cambridge Secondary 1 Cambridge Secondary 2 Cambridge International AS & A Level. Students can join at any stage. Presenter’s Name Job Title Date Cambridge Primary, typically for learners aged 5 to 11 years, allows students to develop skills and understanding in English, mathematics and science.  Cambridge Secondary 1 develops skills and understanding in English, mathematics and science for the first three years of secondary education. It is typically for students aged 11 to 14 years. Cambridge Secondary 2 is typically for students aged 14 to 16 years. It builds on the foundations of Cambridge Secondary 1, although learners do not need to complete that stage before this one, and is available in two routes: Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge O Level. Thousands of learners worldwide gain places at leading universities every year with Cambridge International AS & A Levels. The syllabuses develop a deep understanding of subjects and independent thinking skills, and are typically for students aged 16-19 years.

How are Cambridge students prepared for the future? Presentation title over 2 lines Space for subtitle 20pt Cambridge learners build more than just a deep understanding of their subject. Being a student of a Cambridge programme means developing the higher order thinking skills to apply what they’ve learned including: solving problems creatively thinking for themselves doing their own research and communicating it working with other people on a project they’ve designed together. Our programmes encourage students to develop the attributes of the Cambridge Learner – confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. And help them to succeed in tomorrow’s world.
