Complete 10 different activities before repeating Turn in every Monday via Google docs whether or not it is a class day! Describe in Spanish: The activity What you learned (info, vocab, culture, etc.) What you thought about it What you had difficulty with Complete 10 different activities before repeating When asked to “press 2” for Spanish, do it and complete your call in Spanish. Talk to another Spanish-speaker for 20 minutes. Go to a Mexican/Spanish/Latin American restaurant and complete your order in Spanish. Teach your family or friends a concept you’ve learned in Spanish class. Tutor another Spanish student for 20 minutes using the online vocabulary lists. Go shopping at a Latin grocery store and complete your transaction in Spanish. Explore one or more Spanish websites – 30 minutes. 8. Change your Facebook language to Spanish and use it for an entire hour (or all week!). Follow a Latin actor/actress/singer on Twitter and read 20 of their most recent tweets. 10. Watch 2 Spanish-language commercials on YouTube. 11. Read 3-5 articles about famous Latinos on www.peopleenespanol.com 12. Research a Spanish-speaking country. Find a hotel, activities & sights to see. Create an itinerary for a trip. 13. Create a Pinterest board related to a Spanish/Latin artist. 14. Find a Spanish games website. Play for 30 minutes. 15. Change your cell phone language to Spanish for an entire week.

16. Watch TV in Spanish for 30 minutes & summarize. 17. Watch the Spanish language trailer for a movie you would like to see. 18. Watch TV with “subtitles on” in Spanish for 30 min. 19. Watch an entire movie in Spanish. 20. Watch TV on mute for 30 minutes. Narrate what’s happening in Spanish. 21. Watch a documentary (English or Spanish) about a famous native Spanish-speaker. 22. Label 15 or more things in your home you don’t already know the name for. Leave the labels on for a week. 23. Read a book in Spanish for 30 minutes. 24. Read and complete a Spanish story on www.duolingo.com . 25. Read the Spanish directions of 5 consumer products in your house. 26. Explore the Spanish-language section of a bookstore. Browse at least 10 books (E- books okay) and note the two that are most interesting to you and why. 27. Read a Spanish-language newspaper (online newspaper is okay) for 30 minutes. 28. Read a Spanish language blog about how the blogger celebrates something. Compare to one of your own traditional celebrations. 29. Read and memorize a short poem in Spanish. 30. Find a Spanish-language recipe online. Make the recipe and try it! 31. Create a six-panel cartoon strip in Spanish. 32. Get together with friends in this or other Spanish classes and speak only in Spanish for 45 minutes. 33. Listen to talk radio in Spanish for 30 minutes. 34. Listen to music on the radio in Spanish for 45 minutes. 35. Find 5 different Hispanic food products and try them. Compare them to products from the US. 36. Play Trivia Crack or another game in Spanish for 20 minutes. 37. Research a university in a Spanish- speaking country. 38. Play www.FreeRice.com in Spanish for 20 minutes. 39. Tweet in Spanish for a week. 40. Call my school number and record how your week is going, in Spanish.
